Before checking if the ico is any good you need to check if the ico is legitimate at all, look for the pictures of the developers and their credentials and if you find anything out of place then do not invest in project since it is likely it is a scam, also check the whitepaper for any copied material again if they plagiarized something it is likely the project is a scam, once you have determined if the project is a legitimate one now you can check if the project is any good.
