Today Nvidia officially unveiled the three cards, RTX 2070 for 599 dollars, RTX 2080 for 799 dollars and the RTX 2080 ti for 1199 dollars. Many people in instagram and other social are saying these cards are going to make the Pascal architecture obsolete.
What do you guys think ? Are these cards worth the money ?
I'd say yes for gaming. Imagine seeing enemies off reflections around the corner in battlefield 5. Pay to win to the next level.
For mining, scoop up sub $130 470/570s from liquidating miners. The 2070 is decently priced, should do about 50mh/s eth. It will be a good buy if rendertoken comes online, but RIGHT NOW it's $130 polaris cards.
