I've done that before, but it was more on panic buying where I thought that the price might go higher so I decided to buy without analyzing the market. So after I bought the coin, the price abruptly  went down until I could not sell my holdings. So I decided to hold for it and patiently waiting for the matket to bull run again. From then I learned my lesson.
