Seed Blockchain [SDB]Seed Blockchain is a utility token that will be used in an online marketplace for the agriculture and farming industries. The token will provide provenance, transparency and process optimization on a platform connecting growers, buyers and end consumers of the value chain.
The first use case will target the Cannabis segment to connect licensed growers in Australia to cosmetic manufacturers and end consumers in Japan with a current market size of USD$37.87B per annum.
The project is currently in negotiations with a number of growers in Australia who will provide a source of Cannabis to a licensed manufacturer (1 of 33 exclusive licenses) in Japan looking to introduce Cannabis into cosmetics and health goods. Seed Blockchain will look to leverage this partnership to develop a proof of concept where any licensed grower in Australia will be able to grow, sell and manage crop cycles to balance demand from manufacturers and subsequent consumers in Japan. The blockchain solution underpinning the marketplace will provide:
- License and auditing confidence to the respective Governments managing the industries
- Provenance to manufacturers and end consumers buying products with the Cannabis active ingredient on the strain and source of the Cannabis, and
- Capture the efficacy of the different Cannabis strands used and the combinations which will feed into research facilities globally for alternate uses, specifically medical treatment of various conditions
