You get one free lotto ticket for every 500 sats wagered. So a high roller going for the wagering contest, for example, wagers 100BTC they will get 20 million tickets. You can see that is a far smaller influence than 30,000 bots getting 750 million. So yes, sorry the prizes will be a lot smaller this week but at least we're not losing all that coin to cheats.
