what is going to be the cheapest cryptocurrency to invest at present and get double future return from it? 
The point is not to invest in the cheapest one, but to find such cryptocurrencies that will be in demand and have a specific product. In my opinion, such altcoins as NAS, ONT, OCN, ZIL and NEO will be great for the long-term investments.
