Is this really happening. I think this will be huge support for existing of bitcoin. Recently,I heard that Samsung started to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries. It is said that customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.
You should at least share the links so that we can read and comment about it.
Anyways, maybe you are referring to this article:
(UPDATED) Samsung Stores in the Baltic States Still Dont Accept CryptocurrenciesI'm not surprised by the Baltic + Samsung accepting it. Those states are very friendly anything related to cryptos (ICO,blockchain). Yes its a welcoming news and this is just a small step for crypto acceptance. Perhaps this is just a experiment for Samsung and if they see it going a positive way then it might be rolled out to other friendly nations as well.
The news about Samsung store in the Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, DASH, NEM, STEEM, XRP, and LTC.) aceptance was truth but the deal behind Samsung and the crypto currency payment company (Coppay) which Samsung want to partner with doesn't work out. So, they are yet to collect bitcoin as payment but we should expect it to happen in the future.
