Definitely a possibility, although not a probability.  Even free S3s burn more power than you can earn running them unless your power is incredibly cheap as well (I haven't run the number, but guessing something like 2 cents /kw would do it.)

S3s are good for working out the kinks like your doing.  But as soon as those are stabilized, you really need to move up S9s or 841s to make anything at all.  Or wait for the A9s due in a few months.
