Guys, wanted to know your opinion about potencial war incoming.
What do you think, will Russia continue occupying little countries like Georgia and Ukraine resulting in a new war or will it stop using such an aggressive politics?
Will Trump try to stop Russia or he needs Caucasus only for his army bases?
And what do you think, who will be on Russia's side??
Russia is probably unlikely to outright invade these countries but it will continue to fuel pro-Russian sentiment, particularly in Russian majority regions, to create unrest and an image of oppressed people asking Russia to help. De-facto it already occupies parts of Georgia and Ukraine, which might be all Putin wants there. Same with Moldova. Eastern Estonia might be at risk, but (1) Russians there seem to be better off than their counterparts in Ukraine, Georgia, or Russia proper; and (2) NATO.
Regime change in Belarus or Kazakhstan could be interesting, unlikely as that may be.
