The problem isn't on the pool side, it's the network side. It took several hours for most of my transactions to go through, we need more nodes (people with wallets with different external IP addresses) in order to better facilitate transactions.
The hash power in the network is very low. The pool just went from 6 to 9MH/s, so I guess more people are slowly jumping on.
