A recent Gallup poll shows the early adopters of Bitcoin among American investors.
2% might not sound like it's a lot but it's a very good start for such a new investment category. The question is what else needs to be done to get that 2% number higher?
You can read about the poll and the other results of the survey here:
https://bitcoinist.com/quarter-us-investors-intrigued-bitcoin-poll/This is important, 2% does not sounds like much but it is huge, the adoption has not reached 1% of the human population but in the US 2% already adopted bitcoin, this is important because countries in which the standards of living are higher can afford to invest in new technologies like bitcoin, so as long as we get countries like the US, Canada, Japan, The EU and China the market of cryptocurrencies will get access to most of the money of the world.
Now about what we can do to make that percentage higher, the truth is we cannot do much, a pool that I saw some time ago said that most young people knew about bitcoin already so what we need is to wait and for the day young people get good jobs and money and then they decide to invest most of their money in bitcoin and not in traditional investments.
