I once tried tubebuddy, but it was not effective, the audience's growth only happened in a few hours. I prefer to use manual SEO, such as tag optimization, description titles and sharing.
Its been doing alright for me. I like to be able to see the data for other people's channels/videos. Gives me an idea of competition and the market.
