Just a quick question for the devs... you mention someone aunt knows the "owner" of a credit union... but credit unions are not singularly owned. They are member-owned institutions and there is not a a single or large controlling shareholder usually. So that bit of information doesn't seem accurate.

Can you explain in clearer detail, please?

The credit union is an investment firm not a physical banking institution.

We are canceling the debit card plans anyways,  pre-orders have been out for almost a month and only 3 people have pre-ordered (funds have already been returned)

We will continue development with more ideas and different approaches to improving Litecoin Black and maybe look back at a debit card option in the future.

There's an investment firm called "The Credit Union"? Who are these people? I'm confused. How is an investment firm going to issue debit cards without a bank attached? All cards have to be issued by a financial institution with a license with Visa or MasterCard.

I'm not trying to bust your balls... but some of this sounds like bullshit. Transparency, honesty, and absolute details are what makes or breaks success in this realm. If you're only telling half the story... you're leaving too much to the imagination. And in a realm where scammers are at every friggin' corner, leaving ANYTHING to the imagination is stupid, to put it mildly.

"The Credit Union" is not the name of the investment firm, we weren't going to release any information about the credit union's name, etc... until the debit card was officially released since they are a small local firm and has to follow the tax laws regarding crypto.  The investment firm (credit union) does have a license with Visa, they issue out cards to their investment account holders

But like I said in the other post, since the community showed low interest in the debit card we will be exploring new development possibilities, so you don't have to worry about a scam here, the few community members that did pre-order the card has already received a refund
