Just to set the record straight, bitcoin has no intention to destroy fiat, could be a good alternatives but totally eliminating fiat is not what we wanted.
Predictions is real funny because its just a guess, educated but wild guess. Technically, there's a lot of altcoins more robust and far more superior specially in terms of speed (transaction and confirmation wise.) However, it will remain on the top until someone comes along to challenge it. The question is when are those coins going to emerge?
That will be right, bitcoin created with the main purposed and that is with the purpose of giving a much convenient and easiest way of making transactions in anywhere and anytime we are even we are at home and not only for money laundering.
