few exchanges offers direct purchase of altcoins via cards or paypal .
but most of exchnges only serve crypto to crypto or usd trading pair .
main pair on all exchanges are BTC , ETH , USD/USDT .

so if you want to buy alts then buy one of these coin - BTC or ETH . then move it to exchange where your favorite alt is listed .
