IoTeX aims to become the “obvious” choice for any IoT manufacturer or DApps developer who requires a blockchain to deliver his products/services.

To do so it requires hard and constant work on the technology in the first place. Industry ready blockchain solution is higly required in the IoT space, where the manufacturer can easily setup his own subchain with those features that best suit his devices such as full privacy or high transactions throughput, or smart contracts. Also, partnering with companies that will actually develop their products on IoTeX, bringing real value to the project, is critical.

For this reason, the IoTeX team is fully committed at this moment to deliver the technology, within a very strict roadmap, to quickly reach a “ready to use” mainnet, and at the same time the partnership program has just started: 7 partnerships have been achieved during August, both with blockchain security expert companies, and with companies ready to develop their products on the IoTeX network ranging from bike sharing devices to medical tracking devices to wearable devices.

We believe the IoT industry requires a solid and reliable blockchain, which can really solve the scalability problem without sacrificing full privacy, instant transactions and smart contracts, and also as flexible to be applicable to most IoT scenarios. And we believe these goals can be achieved with proven blockchain technologies already existing, plus working on innovative solutions that allow them to scale to billions nodes and be lightweight enough to be run by low power devices even providing full privacy, and fast enough to enable low latency demanding scenarios.
