I have the same problem, and a week ago I wrote about this problem and I'm waiting for an answer, devs said that he will figure out what the problem is, but so far no response from them. And now I see that the problem is not just my wallet.
Sorry for the trouble. We are working on it. For 98% of the users it's working fine but for a certain number of people it's not, and we need to improve this.
Until we find a better solution you can still use the CLI wallet which is working fine for 100% of the users.
- Run xcashd to get the blockchain synced
- Run in a separated windows xcash-wallet-cli using the --restore-deterministic-wallet argument. You will be able to view the balance and use the transfer function if you want to move the funds around.
