To me, it is all about global uncertainty.  The world is shifting to populism and "closed borders."  But the core driver our world economy is none other than technology! 

So, my thinking is this: "if the the backbone of the economy is tech, which is inherently global, but the masses seem to want to close borders... we've got an opportunity on our hands."

People with money and power don't really like being told what to do.  That's why I think we're seeing a shift (from many very wealthy people) into crypto.  I think that shift is not over yet.
