The point for bitcoin cash to change their format was to avoid accidental mixup of addresses, so the request doesn't make sense.

If you have a CDY address, why would you even try to turn it into a BCH (base32) address?  To trick yourself into transferring BCH funds to that address and make it hard (if not impossible) to ever recover?
