For the general trend I look coinmarketcap to know quickly in which direction the market goes.

To take position, after defining the trend I mainly use major supports/resistances (also i look at RSI or bollinger bands to confirm)

For general news, I go on the forums (and I check on the net the information I find, there are often fake news  )
