What you say is completely true, there are a lot of risks when it comes to storing crypto. What I do is just to write down my private key on a paper, but I just dont write it exactly as it is, I change some letter/numbers with another ones, then I store that paper in a place that I consider secure. There are several ways to reduce risks near to 0, but it is imposible to be 100% secure no matter what we do.
