But somehow the first lot then went from 12ngg to 36ii5, but the 2nd lot didn't??!?
Something else has happened here that the OP hasn't quite explained. Did they withdraw from Kraken to another wallet app before sending to Coinbase?

I have pictures of the transactions on Kraken which show the wallet addresses that are identical I am not sure how to post pix on this site tho
Upload the pics to an image hosting service like imgur and then post the links generated by that service
