Because a lot of factors to consider, one factor to look at is the ERC20 based tokens, and a lot of the tokens nowadays are just created to scam people, but hey many are still successful by using their platforms, but i believe Ethereum should do something to eliminate this one, what i mean is that , they would try to make some rules and regulation to make their platforms the best, because many are using it to scam people. ETH will be successful not now, but maybe later.
