Yes, unfortunately that is so. It is important that we have projects that will in some way prevent it.

That's why we need to study any new project and see if the devs and it's team are reliable. We need to study their whitepaper if the project they are proposing show new innovations. Scams in the blockchain industry is increasing especially when it is now a pot of gold everyone wants to tap into.

we always had to keep track of all the important details of the project, while it only emerges and spreads to the masses. so this should not be dropped out of our attention even before.
