Ethereum is the next good cryptocurrency and actually it is already moving.It increases its value and we are expecting that it will continue to recover that is why we still holding our eth until now . I would say that it is still good to buy ETH in this current situation while ETH price is still low and need to HODL while waiting for the great recovery that will soon be experience.  Ethereum and many more altcoins will find real life use cases eventually
