If you are a currency collector "Numismatist" you will not prefer to collect digital coins; I gather things to boast about owning, digital currencies restrict it to being numbers and not something to touch.

Perhaps owning bitcoin in a physical form is much better since it has a physical presence and value increases with time.
Also in the future, we may see a new update of Numismatist like collect Pokemon and collect digital one.

Numismatics is the study or collection of currency, including coins, tokens, paper money, and related objects. While numismatists are often characterized as students or collectors of coins, the discipline also includes the broader study of money and other payment media used to resolve debts and the exchange of goods.
Someone has forgotten the source Wink

A lot of them expands their interest in more things associated with money, so it is not just physical coins or paper money. I have seen people collecting, contracts / Bond certificates / Credit cards etc.  Grin

Yes, sorry I should have added the source for the definition of a Numismatist - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numismatics   Roll Eyes
