It was a post of me commending someone who posted a quite helpful video (his contribution seemed to go unnoticed).
This forum has the Merit system to reward posts that are worth reading.
The admins are paid for the service they render, so doing it properly is not a bad idea. Even if it means more work.
You're not paying the Admins anything, what makes you think you get to make demands?
