I found lot of traders who bought a special coin from many exchange site. Then few months they go for sleep and wake up after 5 years. So now what about your trade?
That might be the case which have happened few times and to be frank there are not many people who does that or have the patience for 5 years or something. If someone is saying this about the BTC then it is all right because BTC can be held for such long time but this is not the case with altcoins in particular. For any single trader the 5 years of period is huge, and in todays date there is surely no one who will hold their coins for such big period. The reason is simple and true one, atlcoins are too fluctuating one these days and you never know what will come up front in the future. The coins may get scammed, go to zero volume, drop in the investor base, no project development etc. These are the possibilities that can not be ignored. So no, long term trades with a year of period is okay but not that long.
