In my opinion, we will see many more algorithms after several years. People will keep advancing and making the current blockchain technology way more better than it is today.
We will have new implementations out of blockchains than we have today so that people can always use blockchain in real life.
I am absolutely sure that even after a lot of time, many dozens of years, Bitcoin, and the cryptocurrencies will be used. Hope, the crypto will be not banned anywhere, and people will feel free to operate with it.
