The Bitcoin market is open for 24-hours/7day, so it is not as time-related as it is in the currency market, where news on holidays affects prices at the opening and so on.
Also, if you check the charts, you will find a link to the news more than the times.

Stop worrying and do not build your economy on false assumptions. "Bitcoin is not a musical note that revolves every year."

Will the same statistics be seen at the end of 2018?
That increase was not normal and there were a lot of articles that talk about manipulating prices[1].
