The problem with the calculators is that they are based on what you are getting right now this instant. So if you are just an individual mining on a small scale you probably can't take advantage of the swings up before they swing back down and you've wasted time mining at lower profit.

I'd pick 3 or 4 coins you think are good and set up the auto switch to only do those ones.
