In my opinion, the growth ratio is calculated from market capitalization. And now Bitcoin controls more than half of the global market.
It might make sense when all crypto grows, altcoins with small market capitalization have a greater growth ratio.
But I don't think this applies to all situations, because right now we don't see that happening.
