Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

I really doubt that someday BTC will replace fiat, I don't think that the governments the countries will allow this change, and I don't think it will be good for economical situation around the world. We need something tremendous to happen to witness crypto replacing dollar, for instance.
Yeah it is impossible for Bitcoin or any forms of crypto currency to replace paper money or fiat because one of the main reasons here is the internet usage and the availability of gadgets such as laptops, personal computers/desktop computers and smartphones because we all know that not everyone in this world have the ability to afford a smartphone or any kind of gadget that can be used to transact crypto currencies while fiat or paper money is usable by anyone whether your rich or poor or any kind of status in life. Cool
