I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

Theres no minimum. I think 100 usd worth of btc is a good initial fund to begin with. Put this amount into good use by learning the basics of trading. This probably wont give you much earning, but you will learn many first hand experiences.
