Javascript needs 5.5ms/getPublicKey
Javascript needs 12ms/sign
Javascript needs 9.5ms/verify

I suspect you're seeing slower numbers on your machine because you're testing in FireFox. AFAIK, Chrome has a faster JavaScript interpreter.
