I keep reading some really desperate people on a forum (other than this one) and they seem sure that crypto is dead, because it is scam etc.

Off course not. Cryptocurrency will not die as other people think it will. Crypt/Bitcoin has been criticized because of price volatility, thefts from exchanges. No one or person has the authority and power to end crypto and bitcoin. Not even Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin, has those powers. It will live, it just keeps fluctuating because that is its norm.
