You can use together whatever you want, just make sure that it fits the situation and you perfectly understand the technologies you are working with, otherwise you will be just chasing the hype and will fail to produce anything meaningful. If a technology is new and praised by everyone, it doesn't mean it's perfect and should be used everywhere, such technologies tend to be raw, misunderstood and have flaws.
