Well, it's too lame to tell a definite time on when digital currencies will lead the mainstream. On the other hand, it's too premature to tell that it will never do so, since it is still in its infancy. A lot of things can happen with it; it can develop its flaws, or burst like bubble. My point here is everything is a possibility, given the fact that the financial market is really unpredictable, whether be it virtual or physical. The most that we can do now is educate ourselves about what's exactly going on in the market, so that we can best interpret it to our advantage.
