They aren't removing alts from their site, they are shutting down completely and only letting you withdraw BTC. If you own some alts you will need to convert those alts to BTC with their exchange service which will be charged a negative 4% fee in your favor.

I think its really professional of the way they are handling this situation. However very sad that the DDoS was a success and lead to their shutdown after all these years.
