Yes off course it will continue to rise no matter what happens. I mean it doesnt matter if the crypto currencies exists anymore or not because as you said blockchain itself is base for them and this thing is not the other way around. 

Blockchain is self sustained technology which is there and can be modified due to its open and decentralised source and thus anyone can use it for their own benefits. This tech can be used anywhere in the world and in any industry. So surely it will survive on its own no matter what happens with the crypto currency.
