The technology blockchein is not directly related to the crypto currency and may well exist by itself, even if there is no crypto currency. First of all, blockchein technology is used where it is necessary to openly and safely store large databases using the global Internet. In my country, for example, blockchein technology is used for open storage and use by one of the ministries of the database of the Land Cadastre, that is, the database where information is kept about all the owners of land plots of the country and their full characteristics. These data are constantly replenished and changed. Earlier, putting such information on the Internet for open use was dangerous because of all sorts of hackers, but now blockchein technology allows doing this with a high degree of security. There are a lot of such examples and they have nothing to do with crypto currency.
