You are calling a raise with the second worst holding cards in holdem. Then you call a bet on the flop with two premium over cards where the chances given the preflop action were high that you got out flopped. Your future equity is also low given this scenario even if your opponent missed the flop. Sorry to say but you deserved the bad beat that's not to say the other player played their hands great either but from your perspective that was played very poorly.

I don't really see anything wrong here aside from the wrong decisions made. The opponent had a flush draw and made a gamble/value bluff to shove then got lucky on the river. You on the other hand should have not even played that hand to begin with or at the very least should have folded the shove or even on the flop.
