UPDATE: Today the Venezuelan government released a message confirming that the new phase of the Petro will be announced and launched by the government on October 1st 2018.

This is happening less the a month after the launch of the most robust set of economic and monetary reforms that seem to be giving relief to the Venezuelan people, mostly thanks to the abolition of currency exchange controls (that is killing the black market speculation from abroad) and a stronger control of the inflation.
