Honestly downtrend is real and it could take few years for the situation to sort out and for bulls to pick up again. How I view things there is a high chance that it could dump even more. Not to mention that Vitalik said something like you won't see any huge raise in future which can pull people to sell even more. If you are ready and prepared to wait. Good luck! But just quick note that Ethereum is not alone as a platform for dApps and there is none that is vastly used by people to push ETH adoption rn. Of course it could pick up its old price. Even BTC in 2013 dumped hard and recovered.
