Minato is the result of the work of a few enthusiasts of cryptocurrencies. Our idea was to create a coin for the profane user, together with an algorithm that favored fair mining, avoiding at all costs specific hardware (ASIC). Thanks to the collaboration of all the members that have been joining the project, we have been able to arrive at the creation of the x18 algorithm, the design of the web, the lifting of electrum servers, vps servers for the MainNet nodes ...

We know that shitcoins are the order of the day, that's why we present ourselves with a whole fleet of open source and software available from day 1; Classic desk wallets, electrum wallets, Android wallet and CPU mining software (NVIDIA GPU in development), plus the next release of an OpenSource web wallet so that anyone who wishes can create one.

We also want to proclaim our commitment to the community of users and miners, ensuring that we will keep the algorithm updated in order to keep away from the specific hardware devices.


Like Bitcoin BTC, we are an OpenSource project and we remain thanks to the work of our collaborators, there is no pre-mine, no ICO, no companies or groups behind Minato.
