I am not sure because they usually make the same excuses, it is either "we are anonymous, satoshi was anonymous too", "we are not scam, people say bitcoin is scam, is it scam?" or "thanks for pointing that our hired team members have fake pictures, we fired them" 
About pictures, where did you find gray photo? From which ICO is it? To be honest it doesn't look like person on right photo. There are certain similarities, I really can't say my opinion without seeing photo in color.
