Blockchain 2.0 = Blockchain 1.0 + Smart contracts [Ethereum]
Blockchain 3.0 = Blockchain 2.0 + dApps [läuft z.B. auf Ethereum]
Blockchain 4.0 = Verwendung der Blockchain 3.0 in realen Geschäftsszenarien --> Industrie 4.0 Anforderungen erfüllen
Im Endeffekt wieder ein Modebegriff wie 'Industrie 4.0' oder 'Internet of Things'
