Maybe you are posting in a section where spamming are moslty happening like in Bitcoin and Altcoin discussion or maybe it is not meritable since it has been shared many times already.

To be honest, I dont think merit is the first thing you should get here. Merit is useless for me although some will say "Merit is important for ranking up" blah blah. Merit is implemented for the spammers not to rank up that easily. What you must get here is knowledge coming from different users here.
