I think the most ico has no working porduct. So if you go for these detail, you could not invest in any initial coin offering out there. The most groups start and initial coin offering because they had an idea but no money to realize these product. So instead of giving such bad advice, you should maybe give advice what they have to watch before they invest in initial token offerings.
At least monitor or get updates on their backgrounds before entering. Some of the team or advisor might already built some products that they want to risk their name if the ICO will be scammed, having a team who seems legit and works with products before can be a good start to identify their legitimacy.
