The people that use them tend to keep on wagering the same funds over and over until they eventually lose. The simple fact is that when you gamble on random numbers, whatever system you use, there will be a sequence of rolls that will result in you busting. The larger the sample size of bets is the higher the probability that it will include that sequence.
